Seems that the Marvel news macine continues to roll along in and drop some pretty interesting news bombs. Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the web blog, Greg Weisman posted that Sony Pictures is no longer involved in any Spider-Man related TV projects, including the latest Spectacular Spider-Man. Sony made a deal with Marvel Entertainment to turn over all TV right for more favorable options in the film franchise. While this might bode good or ill towards the future of the movies, it certainly sound like it may be a good thing for the future of the web slinger on TV. For one thing this could me that elusive 2nd season will actually be seen, and with the power house of mouse now in charge could there be a possible live action series on the horizon? Who knows but we fanboys can most certainly dream.
