NBC’s superhero drama The Cape posted solid but not spectacular ratings in a two-hour debut on Sunday. Created by Tom Wheeler, The Cape is the saga of policeman-turned-Batman-like vigilante Vince Faraday, and it includes many standard superhero themes including a super-villain antagonist known as Chess. The Cape managed to post a 2.6/6 rating in the critical 18-49 demographic, which was good enough for second place with male viewers over its two-hour time period.
